2. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

The following activities are STRICTLY PROHIBITED when using H&S Limousine services:

2.1 Illegal Activities

You SHALL NOT use our services for any illegal purpose, including but not limited to:

Drug-Related Activities:

  • Possession, use, sale, or distribution of illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Transportation of illegal narcotics or drug paraphernalia
  • Using vehicle as location for drug transactions
  • Marijuana use (even where legal, prohibited in our vehicles per company policy)

Criminal Activities:

  • Planning, committing, or facilitating any crime
  • Transportation of stolen goods or contraband
  • Fleeing from law enforcement
  • Money laundering or financial crimes
  • Prostitution, solicitation, or human trafficking
  • Gang-related activities

Weapon Violations:

  • Illegal possession or transportation of firearms (except authorized law enforcement with proper identification)
  • Concealed carry without valid permit (Illinois law)
  • Transportation of illegal weapons (switchblades, brass knuckles, etc.)
  • Brandishing or threatening with weapons

Fraud and Deception:

  • Using stolen credit cards or fraudulent payment methods
  • Identity theft or impersonation
  • Booking under false names or information
  • Chargeback fraud

ANY ILLEGAL ACTIVITY WILL RESULT IN:

  • Immediate service termination
  • Contact with law enforcement
  • Full payment charged (no refund)
  • Permanent ban from using our services
  • Cooperation with police investigation and prosecution

2.2 Dangerous or Harmful Conduct

The following behaviors endanger safety and are prohibited:

Physical Violence or Threats:

  • Physical assault or battery toward chauffeur, other passengers, or bystanders
  • Threatening language or gestures
  • Intimidation or coercion
  • Domestic violence incidents in vehicle
  • Road rage directed at chauffeur or other drivers

Reckless Endangerment:

  • Distracting or interfering with chauffeur while driving
  • Attempting to grab steering wheel or control vehicle
  • Opening doors while vehicle is moving
  • Throwing objects from vehicle
  • Encouraging dangerous driving or illegal speeds

Self-Harm:

  • Suicidal statements or attempts
  • Self-inflicted injuries
  • Overdose or intentional poisoning
  • We will contact emergency services (911) if passenger appears to be in medical crisis

Child Endangerment:

  • Failure to provide required child safety seats
  • Leaving children unattended in vehicle
  • Allowing children to engage in unsafe behavior
  • Any form of child abuse or neglect

CONSEQUENCES:

  • Immediate service termination
  • Emergency services contacted if necessary
  • Police notification for violent or criminal conduct
  • Full charges apply with no refund
  • Permanent service ban

2.3 Harassment and Abusive Behavior

We have zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct:

Toward Chauffeurs:

  • Sexual harassment (inappropriate comments, advances, or touching)
  • Racial, ethnic, or religious slurs or discrimination
  • Verbal abuse, screaming, or insults
  • Threats of negative reviews or complaints as coercion
  • Demanding personal information or contact details

Toward Other Passengers:

  • Harassment of any kind
  • Unwanted physical contact
  • Discriminatory language or behavior
  • Creating hostile or uncomfortable environment

Toward Staff:

  • Abusive language to dispatch, customer service, or management
  • Threatening legal action to intimidate or coerce
  • Harassment via phone, email, or social media
  • False accusations or defamatory statements

OUR CHAUFFEURS HAVE THE RIGHT TO:

  • Refuse service to abusive passengers
  • Terminate service immediately if feeling unsafe
  • Contact police if threatened or harassed
  • Report incidents to management

CONSEQUENCES:

  • Immediate service termination without refund
  • Permanent ban from H&S Limousine services
  • Legal action for severe harassment or threats
  • Cooperation with law enforcement if criminal

2.4 Property Damage and Vandalism

You are responsible for treating our vehicles with respect:

Prohibited Actions:

  • Intentional damage to vehicle interior or exterior
  • Carving, scratching, or marking surfaces
  • Spilling or throwing food/beverages intentionally
  • Breaking or damaging equipment (sound system, lighting, seats)
  • Graffiti or defacement
  • Removing or stealing vehicle property (amenities, equipment, tools)
  • Kicking, punching, or striking vehicle surfaces

Excessive Mess:

  • Vomiting due to intoxication (controllable)
  • Food fights or intentional mess-making
  • Muddy shoes on seats (remove shoes or use floor mats)
  • Glitter, confetti, or substances difficult to clean (advance notice required if using)

YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR:

  • Professional cleaning fees ($50-$500 depending on severity)
  • Repair or replacement costs for damaged property
  • Lost revenue during vehicle downtime for repairs
  • Depreciation due to permanent damage

INTENTIONAL VANDALISM:

  • Police report filed
  • Criminal charges pursued
  • Civil lawsuit for damages
  • Insurance claim filed with your liability

2.5 Smoking and Substance Use

ALL H&S LIMOUSINE VEHICLES ARE 100% SMOKE-FREE AND DRUG-FREE:

Absolutely Prohibited:

  • Cigarette smoking
  • Cigar or pipe smoking
  • Vaping or e-cigarettes (including nicotine-free)
  • Marijuana smoking (even in states/areas where legal)
  • Use of hookahs or other smoking devices
  • Drug use of any kind

SMOKING VIOLATION CONSEQUENCES:

  • Immediate service termination
  • $250 minimum cleaning fee (covers deep cleaning and deodorizing)
  • Additional charges if odor requires professional smoke remediation
  • No refund of service charges
  • Possible permanent ban from service

DETECTION:

  • Smoke detectors may be installed in vehicles
  • Lingering odor is evidence of violation
  • Chauffeur reports violations
  • Video evidence may be reviewed

2.6 Alcohol-Related Violations

While alcohol is permitted in certain vehicles (Stretch Limousines and Party Buses), there are strict rules:

Prohibited:

  • Alcohol in Sedans and SUVs (Illinois state law)
  • Underage drinking (passengers under 21)
  • Providing alcohol to minors
  • Extreme intoxication causing safety concerns or uncontrollable behavior
  • Open containers outside permitted vehicle types
  • Pressure or coercion for others to drink
  • Driving under the influence (if passenger takes control of vehicle)

Permitted (Stretch Limos & Party Buses Only):

  • Adult passengers (21+) may consume alcohol
  • Passengers bring their own beverages (BYOB)
  • Responsible consumption
  • Respectful behavior maintained

INTOXICATION POLICY:

  • Chauffeur may refuse service if passenger is dangerously intoxicated before pickup
  • Service may be terminated if behavior becomes unmanageable
  • Vomiting due to intoxication = cleaning fee ($150-$300)
  • Passed-out passengers will be taken to safe location (home, hotel) not abandoned
  • If passenger is unresponsive, emergency services (911) will be contacted

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Monitoring your alcohol consumption
  • Preventing over-intoxication
  • Medical care for alcohol poisoning
  • Decisions made while intoxicated

2.7 Unauthorized Commercial Use

Our services are for personal and authorized commercial transportation only:

Prohibited Commercial Activities:

  • Using vehicle as mobile office without prior arrangement
  • Conducting sales meetings or presentations without permission
  • Filming or photography for commercial purposes without written consent
  • Using vehicle for advertising or marketing without agreement
  • Subletting or reselling transportation services
  • Operating competing transportation business using our vehicles
  • Rideshare or taxi-like operations

Authorized Business Use:

  • Corporate transportation for meetings, events, client transport
  • Airport transfers for business travel
  • Roadshows or client entertainment (with advance notice and approval)

UNAUTHORIZED USE CONSEQUENCES:

  • Additional fees for commercial usage
  • Intellectual property claims if using our brand/vehicles in marketing
  • Breach of contract and legal action
  • Permanent service ban

2.8 Privacy and Recording Violations

Respecting privacy of chauffeurs and other passengers:

Prohibited:

  • Recording (audio or video) chauffeur without explicit consent
  • Livestreaming from vehicle without permission
  • Publishing photos/videos of chauffeur online without consent
  • Photographing or recording other passengers without permission
  • Using recorded content for harassment, defamation, or malicious purposes
  • Sharing chauffeur’s personal information publicly

Permitted:

  • Taking photos of yourself and your party for personal use
  • Recording your own experience for personal memories
  • Social media posts of your party (not focused on chauffeur)

NOTE: Vehicles may have dash cams or security cameras for safety and liability protection (you are notified if present)


2.9 Fraud and Payment Violations

Honest and lawful payment practices required:

Prohibited:

  • Using stolen credit cards or payment information
  • Disputing valid charges (chargeback fraud)
  • Providing false billing information
  • Identity theft or impersonation for payment
  • Booking with intent not to pay
  • Requesting services beyond what you can afford and refusing payment
  • NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) checks or declined payments

FRAUD CONSEQUENCES:

  • Account suspension immediately
  • Collections agency engaged for unpaid balances
  • Credit reporting for outstanding debt
  • Legal action for fraud
  • Police report for credit card fraud
  • Permanent ban from services

2.10 Misuse of Booking System

Our website and booking platform must be used appropriately:

Prohibited:

  • Creating fake or fraudulent bookings
  • Booking with no intent to use service (to block competitors or for pranks)
  • Hacking or attempting to breach security
  • Automated bot booking or system manipulation
  • Scraping data or content from website
  • Reverse engineering booking platform
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions

CONSEQUENCES:

  • Account termination
  • IP address blocking

  • Cooperation with law enforcement for cybercrime

3. REQUIRED CONDUCT AND COOPERATION

When using our services, you MUST:

FALSE INFORMATION:

  • May result in service denial or additional charges
  • Jeopardizes safety and service quality

3.2 Follow Chauffeur Instructions

You must:

  • Comply with chauffeur safety instructions
  • Remain seated while vehicle is moving
  • Wear seatbelts at all times
  • Keep noise levels reasonable
  • Not distract chauffeur while driving
  • Exit and enter vehicle safely
  • Follow vehicle capacity and luggage limits

FAILURE TO COMPLY:

  • Chauffeur may terminate service
  • Safety violations result in immediate end of trip
  • No refund for non-compliance terminations

3.3 Respect Company Property

Treat vehicles with care:

  • Remove shoes if muddy before entering
  • Use trash receptacles provided
  • Clean up spills immediately
  • Report damage or malfunctions to chauffeur
  • Do not alter vehicle settings without permission
  • Return vehicle in reasonable condition

3.4 Punctuality and Cooperation

Be considerate:

  • Be ready at scheduled pickup time
  • Communicate delays or changes promptly
  • Have payment method ready and authorized
  • Provide clear instructions and addresses
  • Answer phone calls from chauffeur or dispatch
  • Be reachable at contact numbers provided

EXCESSIVE DELAYS:

  • Wait time charges apply after complimentary period
  • Repeated tardiness may result in service denial

4. REPORTING VIOLATIONS

5. ENFORCEMENT AND CONSEQUENCES

  • Service continues with monitoring

Moderate Violations:

  • Service termination without refund
  • Additional fees for damages, cleaning, or lost revenue

  • Required agreement to comply before future bookings

Severe Violations:

  • Immediate service termination
  • Police notification and cooperation with investigation
  • Permanent ban from H&S Limousine services
  • Legal action (civil or criminal)
  • Collections for unpaid damages
  • Pursuit of maximum damages allowed by law

5.2 Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service:

Before Service Begins:

  • If passenger appears intoxicated or under the influence
  • If passenger is behaving threateningly
  • If passenger has violated policies in the past
  • If booking appears fraudulent or suspicious
  • If passenger is on our “do not serve” list

During Service:

  • If passenger violates this Acceptable Use Policy
  • If chauffeur feels unsafe
  • If illegal activity is occurring
  • If vehicle or property is being damaged
  • If other passengers are at risk

NO REFUND when service is refused or terminated due to policy violations.

5.3 Permanent Bans

The following may result in permanent prohibition from using our services:

🚫 Automatic Permanent Bans:

  • Violence or threats toward chauffeur or staff
  • Drug dealing or trafficking
  • Sexual assault or harassment
  • Intentional severe property damage
  • Criminal activity resulting in arrest
  • Repeated policy violations after warnings

Ban Includes:

  • All H&S Limousine services
  • Online booking system access blocked
  • Phone bookings refused
  • No exceptions or appeals

6. MINORS AND SUPERVISION

6.1 Unaccompanied Minors Policy

Passengers under 18 require adult supervision:

Exceptions:

  • Proms or school-sponsored events with parental consent
  • Written authorization from parent/guardian required
  • Event chaperone or responsible adult present

Parent/Guardian Responsibilities:

  • Provide written permission and contact information
  • Remain reachable during service
  • Accept financial responsibility for minor’s actions

6.2 Supervised Children

When traveling with children:

7.2 Proms and School Dances
